Jet2 Announces Three New Routes to Paris CDG from UK Airports for Summer 2027

Jet2 has announced three brand-new routes to Paris Charles de Gaulle for Summer 2027, meaning UK holidaymakers at four regional airports will have more choice than ever when it comes to flying to the French capital. The low-cost carrier is adding services from East Midlands, London Stansted and Manchester from March 2027, with all flights operating into Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG).

What Jet2 has announced

The expansion puts more than 150,000 seats on sale between the UK mainland and Paris CDG for next summer, which is a capacity increase of more than 300 per cent compared with Summer 2026. Flights will operate between March and October 2027.

The new routes are:

  • East Midlands Airport to Paris CDG: Two weekly services on Monday and Friday, running from 26 March to 29 October 2027. This route is exclusive to Jet2.
  • London Stansted Airport to Paris CDG: Four weekly services on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, running from 25 March to 31 October 2027.
  • Manchester Airport to Paris CDG: Four weekly services on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, running from 25 March to 31 October 2027.

Existing Leeds Bradford route continues

Jet2 already operates year-round flights to Paris CDG from Leeds Bradford Airport, with four weekly services on Monday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. That route is not changing, but it means Jet2 will be flying from four UK airports to CDG in Summer 2027, with 14 weekly flights in total.

Why Paris CDG and not one of the other Paris airports?

Paris has three commercial airports: Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Orly (ORY) and Beauvais (BVA). Jet2's press release talks about flights to "Paris" throughout, but all of these new routes are into Charles de Gaulle specifically, which is the main international hub north east of the city centre. That is worth knowing when you are comparing fares, because the airport you fly into makes a real difference to how you get into central Paris.

From CDG you have three main options to reach the centre: the RER B train (around 35 to 45 minutes to Gare du Nord), the Roissybus (around 60 minutes to OpΓ©ra), or a taxi at a fixed fare of around €56 to the Left Bank or €53 to the Right Bank. Orly and Beauvais are completely separate airports with different transfer options, so do not assume the journey will be identical if you have flown into Paris from a different UK airport in the past.

What you can book

Jet2 is selling the routes in a few different ways, which is standard for the airline:

  1. Flight-only with Jet2.com, which includes a 22kg hold baggage allowance plus 10kg of cabin baggage. This is the cheapest option and the best choice if you are sorting accommodation separately.
  2. Jet2CityBreaks package combining flights and a Paris hotel with ATOL protection and a Β£60 per person booking deposit.
  3. Jet2holidays package to a Eurocamp site in the Paris area. These tend to be self-catering lodges in the countryside outside the city, which works well for families who want a base near both central Paris and Disneyland Paris.
  4. Jet2holidays package to Disneyland Paris itself, again with ATOL protection and the Β£60 per person deposit.

All of the package options come with Jet2's usual 22kg hold baggage and 10kg cabin baggage included in the fare.

What Jet2 is saying

Steve Heapy, CEO of Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, said: "We are seeing continued demand for flights and holidays to Paris, with many customers wanting to book ahead and visit this iconic city. As always, we are giving customers and independent travel agents exactly what they want by launching three brand-new routes to Paris for Summer 2027. This represents a significant expansion of our programme to this incredible city, and we know the new routes will be popular with customers and independent travel agents across each airport region."

What this means for UK travellers

If you are based in the Midlands, the North West or the South East and you want to fly to Paris CDG on a UK-branded carrier with a generous baggage allowance included, your options have just improved significantly. East Midlands in particular stands out, as the Jet2 service will be the only route from the airport to Paris CDG next summer.

The move also puts more competitive pressure on the other carriers flying from these UK airports to Paris CDG, which is good news for fares. If you are booking in advance, here are a few things worth bearing in mind:

  1. Double-check the arrival airport when comparing fares. A cheaper flight to Paris Beauvais will cost you more in transfers and time than a slightly pricier flight into CDG.
  2. Book early for Jet2 packages. The Β£60 per person deposit is one of the lowest in the market and lets you lock in price and availability without paying in full up front.
  3. Think about the 22kg hold bag value. Jet2 includes this as standard, whereas budget rivals charge separately for it. Factor that into any price comparison.
  4. Disneyland Paris is about 40 minutes from CDG by RER B train, which makes CDG a better-placed arrival airport than Orly or Beauvais if the park is your main reason for travel.
  5. Sign up for airline status alerts and keep your email address up to date with the booking, especially if you are flying in the peak summer holidays.
